We are the only Mini Rod Pulling Club in Ontario

What is a Mini Rod?  The sport of Tractor pulling has evolved over the years and began with farm tractors out of the field.  However, it is represented today in a variety of forms.    A Mini Rod doesn't look like a tractor.  They have a homemade chassis powered by an automotive engine.   We are unique from other clubs because all of our classes use V8 automotive engines such as,

CHEVY     DODGE     FORD

The OMRPA runs our pull a little different from most tractor & truck pulls.  Usually at a tractor pull you have a class of tractors that come out and pull in a certain weight class.  In that class they will have there first hook and then any who "FULL PULL" will come back in a "PULL OFF" to determine the winner.  When they are done pulling in that class they add more weight to there tractors and then come out again in a different weight class and do it again.   In this case you may see the same tractor pull 4 or 5 times.

OMRPA has three classes, each Mini Rod will get a "QUALIFYING" hook in there class.  Then only the top Mini Rod distances will return and compete again in the "PULL OFF" for there class.
